Through Hands That Tell Stories, Green Lantern International has started sharing folktales through ASL-integrated storytelling resources designed to make cultural learning more accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences.

Each story page includes:

  • an ASL storytelling video

  • the original picture book

  • and a “Signs From This Story” visual guide featuring key signs connected to the folktale.

Our goal is to help learners explore language, culture, and storytelling in a more visual and inclusive way.
